How to fix Briefly Unavailable for scheduled maintenance error

This Briefly Unavailable for  scheduled maintenance error in wordpress comes only when your WordPress website is updating and stops updating in middle.WordPress creates a .maintenance file when it is updating.This error shows a message as shown in below image.

To fix maintenance error Edit maintenance file,now you’ll find the same error content in that file.This error can be fixed by simply deleting that .maintenance file. Now delete and check your website. It’ll work fine.

If you are really updating your WordPress site and if you wants to show “Updating Our Site ,check back after 20 minutes” to your visitors, then create .maintenance.php file and paste the below code into that file and save the file.

Put this file in wp-content directory.Now when your site is updating then it’ll shows this .maintenance.php to the visitors.
